(if you dont have SBSsettings installed see this tutorial http://www.zodttd.com/wiki/index.php/SSH. Install it and swipe the status bar to reveal it. Push the &quot;Respring&quot; button in the window. This will refresh the springboard and hopefully reveal the vlc icon on the springboard.
